The Embassy of Israel has the honor to announce that the Government of Israel is offering an International Workshop on “Environmental Management Frameworks and Tools Against Climate Change” which will take place from November 19th to December 13th, 2012 at the WEITZ Center for Development Studies. CERUR, Israel.

The training targets professionals working in environmental management frameworks for climate change adaptation and mitigation.  Applicants should be policy makers working in governmental ministries; top ranking employees of local authorities; Managers of NGOs or CBOs; key individuals that hold broad responsibilities in regards to climate related issues; social entrepreneurs; and any professional that can demonstrate how this program will provide for significant impact upon their return.  The course will be taught in English.

“Agricultural Engineering Technologies”

The Embassy of Israel has the honor to announce that the Government of Israel is offering an International Course on “Agricultural Engineering Technologies” which will take place from October 23rd to November 15th, 2012 at CINADCO- Training Center, Volcani Agricultural Complex, Israel.

The course is designed for people from national organizations, academic, extension or and at least 3 years of relevant academic degree.  Participants must have a government institutions. practical work experience relevant to the course.

First priority will be given to groups of professionals from academic and extension institutes involved in Agricultural Engineering Practices with and/or under the aegis of national and/or international organizations, institutions, universities, NGOs, etc.

Good command of written and spoken English language is essential.

The Embassy of Israel has the honor to announce that the Government of Israel is offering an International Workshop on “Renewable Energy as a Catalyst for Regional Development” which will take place from November 18th to November 30th, 2012 at the Arava Center for Sustainable Development. Arava Institute for Environmental Studies, Israel.

The target audiences for this programme are those who are interested in expanding their knowledge and initiatives into sustainable and renewable energy management in their communities.  It is also intended for mid-level professionals, working for government, non-governmental organizations, decision-making bodies, and academia.

It is essential that the participants have a high level of reading, writing and speaking in English.  Participants should have at least the equivalent of a university degree or professional diploma, preferably in a field related to energy.
