Important Meeting Of All Sports Clubs, Associations and Sports Facilities Management Groups
Posted On: May 22, 2012
Following APUA's island-wide disconnection of sports facilities, the Minister of State with responsibility for Sports, Sen. Hon. Winston Williams Jr. has scheduled a meeting for all Sports Clubs, Associations and Sports Facilities Management Groups at the Lower Ottos Community Centre, this Thursday May 24, 2012 at 7;00 p.m. sharp.
The main focus of the meeting will be the management of lights on the public sports complexes across the island. Discussions will centre on the formulation of a plan to manage the use of utility services, the monitoring of such use and action which is to be taken should breaches be observed. It is important to note that attendance at the meeting is a requirement for those sports clubs and associations wishing to be considered for utility services under the new arrangement with APUA. Failure to attend may result in disconnection of utility services at facilities used by groups with no representation at the meeting.
